Updates
First I just want to say thank you to everyone for your kind comments. And know that my parents are very supportive people, both financially and mentally, and they give me their all 100% of the time. I just get in these moods, as we all do, and this is my place to vent. I am better now, and I have rearranged some priorities in my life, to make my life easier but better. So here are 2 past daily emails that I have sent out and that should put you pretty current. :)
Well folks. Another successful NASCAR has come and gone. So sad :(. We now start the countdown until the April Race. We wound up getting to NASCAR late Thursday night after much to do, but we were successful in our victory against the RV, and we made it in a rentail (courtesy Mom THANK YOU!!), and by 11pm we were drinking beer and then some. Friday morning the dawn broke on thousands of trailers in our Mecca for Tornados (prolly one of the largest trailer parks in existence at the moment. Friday we saw some practice and Qualifying. Friday night we went to the Craftsman Truck Series Race. That was fun to watch. Friday night we just hung around the greatest camp fire EVER, and told stories and whoppers (it was THIS big). There might have been some beer drinking but I never saw any. HAHAHHAHA fooled you. I believe I may have done some shopping. Just a little. Saturday, more shopping, some interactive haulers (where you get free stuff), and more practice and then the Nationwide (Busch) Series Race. That was a lot of fun.
And then, Saturday night happened. There perhaps might have been some beer drinking and Wild Turkey shooting, and Jack Daniels slurping, but you werent there so you cant prove it. We were screaming and hootin and hollerin at the UT game, (we are still terribley sad and disappointed, hold me), and tradition is to do a Wild Turkey shot at every UT touchdown, so ruffled some Wild Turkey feathers. Then we went patrolling. Intooooo NOTHING. No ONE was partying. We were ready to cause a ruckus and NOTHING. I dont understand, and I am at a loss for words. We all were. Deeply saddened at the lack of social gatherings. So we made our way back to our homesite, and hung out with the neighbors who forced me to drink Jack and Lemonade. I lead a rough life.
Sunday morning, the ball of 10,000 suns of light beamed it's way into my brain dragging me out of sleep, and forcing me to smell someone cooking eggs and stuff. I believe I was finally able to eat a sandwich around noon. And then. The greatest true love of every redneck American, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The Great American Speedway (GAS) known as Texas Motor Speedway stood before us welcoming us into her arms. 300 + some odd laps and getting to listen to angry little men cursing into their radios, nothing can be better. The #99 Roush/Fenway Office Depot Carl Edwards Ford Fusion made TMS his bitch. That is Marty's driver. So we once again got to see Carl's famous backflip of awesomeness after he won, and he squeezed closer in points to reigning championship leader, Jimmie "Sucksmybutt" Johnson. How did the #12 Alltel Ryan Newman Dodge do, you ask? Let's just say he didnt wreck, blow up, or anything like that and finished in the top 30. So far that's great this year, BUT WE DONT JUDGE, ok? It's just a rough year for us and we are FAITHFUL until the end, you hear me? And my friends, I lied to you. I know hard to believe. BUT Ryan Newman will be going into the #39 Army car next season, NOT the #4 Army car, so I apologize for any confusion or pain I may have caused you.
So as you can see, I am back now at work, working, And stuff.
Please do NOT forget to vote tomorrow!!!!
You can go online and find out where you need to vote, and make sure you go to your correct polling place and bring your id. And something to read because they are expecting record turnouts (good for you America!!). Please dont be discouraged by the long lines. Just suck it up and let your voice be heard tomorrow!!
